Sold in Less than a Day
What?? How is this happening?? We surely didn’t expect it to happen so soon! 😳
Our “Coming Soon” sign went out on the lawn July 9th, Tuesday afternoon… we were waiting for professional pics to be taken. After finding out that they couldn’t do it until Monday, we went ahead and used old pics and it went active on the market at about 11pm EST on Wednesday night. By Thursday morning we got a call for a showing at 10:30am. We took the dogs out for a walk for about 45 minutes, came back, and about an hour later got a call from our realtor telling us we got a full price offer!!😳😳😳 What??
It’s all happening so fast!! So much to think about and our minds are still whirling from it all! We still have to put in the offer on the home we want, and they want to close before the 15th, and we leave for Cory and Aana’s wedding in MN on the 15th!!🤦🏻♀️. To top it off, the boys start school shortly after we get back on the 23rd and we have 4 dogs and a cat that we don’t know what to do with in between! Aaaahhhhh!! Pet sitter anyone??
It is all so very bittersweet! I will miss my home so much, and all the memories that we will always have. We had this home built for us 5 years ago, so maybe that’s why it’s even harder to leave, and the fact that I will so miss the beauty of all the detail…the rounded windows, pillars, etc. For awhile we wondered if we were doing the right thing in selling and moving on, but yesterday we received a letter from the buyers and ya’ll, I promise you, that if I had any doubt before, I don’t now. That letter brought me peace in knowing that our house was going to an amazing family!
So there you have it! Our home was sold in less than 12 hours and we are so excited, shocked, and scared! I cannot wait to share our next adventure with you all! But until then, let the chaos begin…
