Second Bed Swing DIY/Sunroom Reveal!

Hey everyone! I know it’s been awhile since I’ve written a blog post, but life has been crazy lately! Right now we’re in the process of getting our wood floors re-finished and I cannot express how excited I am to finally get rid of the orange tone to our floors and stain it something that I want! I get to choose the stain sometime today, as soon as they begin sanding and can get the colors on the floor, and I’m so excited! I will be sharing in my blog posts how the process is coming along, so if you’re thinking about doing it in your own home, or just want to see it, be sure to follow along!

In the meantime, my husband finished the second swing for the sunroom, and we got it up and I love the results!🙌🏻 I tried to get more video and pics as he was building the second one. If you’re wanting to know all the details of measurements etc., please refer to my recent diy porch swing post!

Bottom of swing. As you can see, he put holes on either side to put the piping through to hang the ropes.

He used tape to mark where he wanted the X’s to go.

So that the ends of the rope didn’t shred, he rigged up a device in order to put the ends into epoxy resin. He then waited for them to dry before hanging.
