Christmas in July

Who’s ready for some Christmas inspo? I’m running out of days in July, so I wanted to get these out there for anybody who loves Christmas as much as I do!😍

When do you begin your Christmas decorations? I’ve always started the day after Thanksgiving, but now as an influencer, it’s my job to get ahead of the game and begin decorating early for every occasion!

When I decorate for Christmas, I love to make my home look like a winter wonderland with lots of trees and twinkling lights!😍 It’s a lot of work, but I’ve found that if I begin early, it gives me more time to add more over time, and not have to do it all at once. I now begin on Nov 1st by adding a tree, one at a time, and decorate it over a couple of days. And because I’m a perfectionist, I tend to add to it or change it up as time goes on.

In my home, I have one tall ceiling in the foyer, so I got a 12ft tree to put there for that awesome entryway.

You want to be able to see a tree from your entryway, even if you just have one in your living room. Try to put it where you can see it at first glance!

This was our view from our front door last year, and I plan on doing more of the same this year!

My living room tree can also be seen from the front door but the pic above doesn’t show it. Here’s another view…

This past year I put more garland around the archways to give it more of that magical feel! I also have a tree in my sitting room and main bedroom! Here are some of my faves from last year!

This was an ad that I did for my bamboo sheets! It was so fun and the sheets are still amazing!
Before we did our brick backsplash looking into the sitting room!
I love whimsy at Christmas time,
so the polka dots were so fun!
My kitchen has changed so much since this pic, but changing the coffee bar into a cocoa bar was fun, especially with the snow!🙌🏻
Adding these canvas’ from Walmart was a nice touch and they’re inexpensive!
This is our main tree! The lights are almost all broken and I’m excited to share that this year I’ll be working with King of Christmas again, and hopefully replace this one with a flocked tree! Do you like flocked or regular?
Tiered trays are always fun!
Throw pillows can make a huge impact!
And even a guest bedroom to welcome guests and make them feel at home at Christmas!

  1. Can you please tell me the paint color on the walls where the bench is with the throw pillows? Your decor is stunning. My sister n law thinks i need this paint color in my newly remodeled kitchen. Thanks in advance!!!

    1. Hi Debbie and thank you so much! At the time of these pictures, the wall color here was Barcelona Beige. Since then, I have repainted it Accessible Beige, both by SW! You can look on my social media pages if you’d like to see it now! Barcelona beige is just more of a beige color while accessible beige is more of a beige gray. You can also look in my paint blog post for more info and unfiltered pics! 😊
